Roots of Jazz with Branford Marsalis You are invited to join saxophonist Branford Marsalis and the Pops for a blend of classical and jazz that explores the idioms and influences of a uniquely American art form. In the fourth installment of their Roots of Jazz series, the program will feature the Pops debut of jazz piano phenom Jesus Molina, and the world premiere of a new suite written especially for Marsalis by composer Edmar Colón. The suite pays tribute to the great saxophonists who shaped the evolution of jazz. With Keith Lockhart, H’98, conducting, this is a night you do not want to miss! The Northeastern Women's Basketball program is excited to welcome all alumnae back to campus for Alumnae Weekend from Saturday, January 20-Sunday, January 21. Head Coach Priscilla Edwards-Lloyd and the women's basketball program look forward to hosting a reception and panel discussion in the Northeastern Alumni Center on Saturday from 2:00-4:00 PM. Attending guests will have the opportunity to hear from distinguished women leaders in sport and the community. The weekend will conclude with the current team hosting Charleston at 1:00 PM on Sunday at Solomon Court. We look forward to recognizing attending alumni during the game!
