Me'ah at Northeastern University

Northeastern University will be hosting the renowned Me’ah educational program, a collaboration of Hebrew College and Combined Jewish Philanthropy, beginning in Fall 2015. Me’ah (Hebrew for 100) is an intensive Jewish educational experience designed for busy adult learners of all backgrounds. The 22 session, Tuesday evening, course runs October 2015-April 2016 and covers the biblical and rabbinic periods. The biblical section will be taught by our own Prof. Lori Lefkovitz, who is the Ruderman Chair in Jewish Studies, Professor of English, and Director of both the Jewish Studies Program and the Humanities Center. This year marks the 100th anniversary of physical therapy education at Bouvé College. The program, evolved out of the classes at the Boston School for Physical Education in 1915, became the framework for the future of physical therapy and the Department of Physical Therapy, Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences that is Bouvé today. Recognizing the important role of physical education as the underlying foundation for Bouvé’s College of Health Sciences, we invite all alumni of physical education, physical therapy, recreation education and athletic training to attend.
