Journey back to the 1950’s in the birthplace of rock n’ roll, when 2010 Tony award winner for Best Musical, Memphis comes to Boston for a two-week run! With catchy songs, explosive dance scenes and forbidden love, you can’t help but get caught up in the beat. The musical follows the affair of a radio DJ and an up-and-coming singer, who are united by their love of music but divided by the color of their skin. Electrifying, energetic, and filled with some of the best singing and dancing in Broadway, this is a one-of-a-kind production you will not want to miss!
Before the show, join fellow Huskies for a pre-show reception at Avila Restaurant just a short walk to the theater. Enjoy good food, friends, and a faculty speaker who will provide context for the show. Join us for a wonderful night out as we get into the holiday season!
