| The university’s Kostas Research Institute for Homeland Security was built in 2011 to allow Northeastern and its affiliates to conduct research on many levels. The institute provides various research teams the opportunity to focus on science, engineering, law, social sciences, and other homeland security fields. Kostas Research Institute for Homeland Security’s Co-Director Peter Boynton will lead a tour of the facility as well as a discussion of some of the research and plans for the institute. |
