Leading up to the 2012 presidential elections, the policies,
business, and mannerisms of both President Barack Obama and Republican
nominee Mitt Romney were endlessly dissected on television and radio,
and many ponder how much influence the media had in determining the
outcome. Professor Schroeder will provide insight into whether the media
impacted voters’ perceptions of the candidates and discuss the possible
effects the media will have on the president while he’s in office.
