New Jersey 2013 Beanpot Telecast

With Northeastern's exciting first-round, 3-2 upset of Boston University in the books, the Huskies have advanced to the Beanpot championship game for the third time in the past five years. Could this be the year Northeastern ends its drought and captures the treasured trophy for the first time since 1988?

Northeastern will square off against Boston College in the championship game on Monday, Feb. 11, at the TD Garden. The Huskies have already beaten the defending champion Eagles this season, so they know what it takes to skate past the high-flying Eagles. Can they do it again and celebrate the 25th anniversary of their last Beanpot title with another win?

Just because you aren't in Boston doesn't mean you have to miss the games! Northeastern fans can gather to cheer on the Huskies at one of the many telecast parties hosted by regional alumni chapters across the country. We hope you'll sign up to be at yours!

Nothing thaws the chill of a blustery winter night like rooting for the Huskies as they scrape up the ice in this year's Beanpot Tournament!

The first two Mondays of February are set aside for the most famous and historic regular-season college hockey showcase in the world: the Beanpot Tournament. Teams from Northeastern, Boston University, Boston College, and Harvard square off with the ultimate goal of hoisting the trophy and laying claim to Boston's college hockey bragging rights. On Feb. 4, 2013, the Huskies face BU in the first game at 5 p.m., while BC and Harvard lock up in the nightcap. The championship game and consolation game will be played on Feb. 11.
