Reunion Weekend is Fast Approaching ... REGISTER TODAY!


Join us for another dynamic two-day celebration in October. Reconnect with old friends, reminisce about your years at NUSL, and enjoy a weekend filled with activities.

Here are a few of the many highlights of Alumni/ae and Reunion Weekend:
  • Friday faculty cocktail reception in Dockser Hall Commons
  • Saturday panels and discussions led by faculty and graduates 
  • Reunion class dinner and cocktail reception at the Colonnade Hotel, Boston 
  • Tours of the School of Law, the Museum of Fine Arts, and Boston
This year we celebrate the milestone reunions of 1953,'73,'78, '83, '88, '93, '98, 2003, and '08. Remember, even if it's not your reunion year, you are welcome to attend!

Hotel Information
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Colonnade Hotel at a discounted rate of $274 per night for Reunion Weekend guests. The hotel deadline is Sept. 26. Please call the Colonnade's reservation team at 1.800.962.3030 and mention you are in town for NUSL's Reunion Weekend to book your room at this discounted rate.



Welcoming the Class of 2016!
As of August 25, the School of Law had received 3,116 applications and enrolled 187 students. The Class of 2016 represents a diverse, accomplished group of people. The average age is 25 years old and 70% have been out of college for at least one year. The median LSAT score is 161 and the median GPA is 3.53. There are 118 colleges and universities represented in the Class of 2016. 

Sixty percent of the students in the class are women and 31% percent identify as people of color. Thirteen percent identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. Beyond the class statistics, this group brings with it many rich and varied life experiences that will undoubtedly enhance the NUSL community.



Northeastern University School of Law Launches Innovation Lab 

Northeastern University School of Law has announced the establishment of NuLawLab — the first U.S. law school innovation laboratory with full-time staff focused exclusively on cultivating visionary new approaches to transform legal education, the legal profession, and the delivery of legal services.

We’re coming your way this year! We will be holding alumni/ae gatherings in numerous states across the nation in the coming year. We anticipate visiting Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, and Washington, D.C. We will also hold several Boston-area alumni/ae events, with a kick-off on Sept. 12.

50 Years Later: Commemorating the Birmingham Bombing
Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013


Time: 5 - 7:30 p.m.
Location: First Congregational Church of Oakland, 2501 Harrison Street, Oakland, Calif.
Join School of Law graduates and friends for an evening of remembrance, spoken words, and music with Angela Davis and Margaret Burnham, director of the School of Law's Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Clinic. The evening will feature a performance by the Vukani Mawethu Choir and a poetry reading by Donte Clark. This is an event not to be missed!

Northeastern University School of Law tops Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly “Top Women of Law” event this year with 12 honorees.
