Fanfare Dinner

Before the Boston Pops take center stage at historic Matthews Arena, dine together with classmates right on campus at the elegant Raytheon Amphitheater. Catch up on the past five decades and relive your college days over a delicious, three-course dinner with friends. This is the perfect way to begin what promises to be an incredible night of music. After dinner, take a short walk through campus to Matthews Arena for the concert; shuttle service will also be available for those who need transportation.

The Northeastern community will welcome the renowned Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and special guest, three-time Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum band Train, to Matthews Arena! This is a fantastic celebration featuring an abundance of Northeastern spirit, beautiful music by the Pops, conducted by Keith Lockhart, H’98, and the pop smash hits of Train. The Pops will kick off the evening with a selection of gorgeous classics and melodies before Train joins them on stage after intermission.

Commencement Shuttle Service

8:15 a.m. Boarding Begins
8:30 a.m. Buses Depart

To help make your participation at the Commencement ceremony as convenient and easy as possible, we have arranged for complimentary parking on campus and courtesy shuttles to bring you to TD Garden. Buses will depart from 716 Columbus Avenue, across from the Columbus Garage on campus. Complimentary muffins will be offered on the ride.

112th Northeastern University Commencement Ceremony

Don your golden cap and gown, join the great tradition of taking part in the Commencement procession at Boston’s impressive TD Garden, and watch as the Class of 2014 is welcomed into the alumni family. All Golden Graduates and their guests will be given priority seating at Northeastern’s biggest celebration of the year.

Luncheon Reception


1:30p.m.
Curry Student Center, Northeastern University, Boston, Mass.

Join President Aoun and other university leaders for a special luncheon reception in the Curry Student Center at the heart of campus. Reminisce and celebrate as the university community marks this exciting time on campus.  Golden Graduates will be seated together at the luncheon.

Boston Duck Tour

Departs at 3:00 p.m. from an on-campus location

Following lunch, join your fellow Golden Grads and see Boston’s by land and sea in a World War II amphibious landing vehicle. You’ll cruise by plenty of places that make Boston the birthplace of freedom and a city of firsts. From the golden-domed State House, Bunker Hill, and the TD Banknorth Garden, to Quincy Market, the Big Dig, and the fashionable Newbury Street, you can enjoy the sites of our city in the comfort of a unique, covered “Duck.”

Campus Tour

Departs from Egan Science Center

Take a guided trolley tour through your old stomping grounds to see how the campus has grown and changed over the years. Your tour will highlight the newest buildings and many long-time landmarks on campus, and will offer some insight into today’s student experience.
Space is limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Class of 1964 - 50th Reunion Dinner

Class of 1964, this is your big night! Connect with classmates for conversation and plenty of laughter at your Golden Reunion. This is a perfect chance to see dear friends, share memories, and toast your - 50th anniversary as graduates of Northeastern University. Enjoy a wonderful sit-down dinner, complete with cocktails, music, and more at our beautiful, on-campus Alumni Center.
